News Official WHQL NVIDIA 270.61 Display Driver

NVIDIA have released a small update to last months 270.51 driver for their ranged of desktop and notebook-based systems. This is the first Rel 270 driver to be WHQL certified.

There doesn't seem to have been a changelog or specific documentation posted for this driver, but if you were using 270.51 you should be able to use the new updater to get upgraded automatically (I uninstalled this as I actually found it created a whole new user on my system and I frankly didn't like that.

been using the betas from the 500 series and then the 270.51's on my gtx 260 to play Dragon Age 2 at more than a stuttering slideshow for a while now

hopefully these WHQL'd ones maintain the silky smooth frame rates

 

Thanks for the heads up, quicker than Guru3D haven't used betas so it's quite a bump for me.
