Free 2013 desktop calendar

The guys at Christian Desktop Wallpapers have a 2013 desktop calendar free for download here:

Simply print out on glossy paper then use a cheap plate holder as your calendar holder. Enjoy

Well that's so cool thing but i cant understand the purpose to built it because many operating systems providing the calender option as the gadgets.

Not everyone sticks to using just the electronic calendar. Personally I use both the outlook calendar and a hardcopy calendar on the desk.
